now somebody, some people can produce computers or a steve jobs. i couldn't be a steve jobs. but i bet his satisfaction is just from proving something than just another billion dollars. everyone's self-esteem comes differently. it may be raising a family. or doing your job well. various ways. but the self-esteem to me seems to be very important. i am convinced when people lose their self-esteem. they are likely to do violence to others because they don't have self-respect. so injuring others doesn't matter. maybe those who redistribute wealth suffer from that same problem. yeah, they want to redistribute and take care of everyone. but they may not have enough self-esteem to understand where it comes from. my personal goal is that a free society provides me an opportunity to seek virtue and excellence. and that should be a personal goal. in doing that it is better done in a free society. if the government takes over the rule to make you an excellent person and make you virtuouvirt it's all over. that's the seeds of an authoritarian society. so instead of seeing this as a conti
